The Land Data Operational Products Evaluation (LDOPE) page provides the MODIS/VIIRS land product quality assessment information. The LDOPE team evaluates and documents the scientific quality of the land products with respect to their intended performance.

Common Metadata Repository (CMR) EOSDIS Holdings for LAADS
CMR is a metadata system used to catalog Earth Science data and associated service metadata records. It is the backend behind NASA Earthdata Search. This link will take you to LAADS-specific holdings. Visit NASA Earthdata Search to search for data stored across all of the DAACs.
NASA’s Land, Atmosphere Near-real-time Capability for EOS (LANCE) provides select data products (including VIIRS and MODIS) within three hours of satellite observation.

NASA’s Fire Information for Resource Management System (FIRMS) is a platform for viewing and downloading active fire data within 3 hours of satellite observation from NASA's Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) aboard the Terra and Aqua satellites and NASA's Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) aboard the joint NASA/NOAA Suomi National Polar orbiting Partnership (Suomi NPP) and NOAA20 satellites.
NASA and US Forest Service FIRMS US/ Canada
This platform is a joint effort between NASA and the US Forest Service where users can interactively browse a tailored US and Canada archive of active fire detections within 3 hours of observation. Each data point includes the location, extent, and intensity of wildfire activity.
Worldview is a visual tool for exploring the Earth through the eyes of satellites. The base layers include MODIS and VIIRS data and you can select datasets to view based on science disciplines, event, and location.
