Production of all SNPP VIIRS Collection 1 (C1) data products from Land SIPS is now disabled at the leading edge, following all CentOS hosts' shutdown, as of June 17, 2024. Processing of C1 BRDF/Albedo, Black Marble, and related selected upstream products will resume after a two-week gap. But all other C1 products will be permanently disabled from the leading edge. Users are strongly advised to switch to SNPP and NOAA-20/J1 Collection 2 (C2) products, which have better calibration and are more consistent with MODIS Aqua heritage. |
