The LAADS DAAC has released the following two v6.2 collection products for the combined Aqua and Terra MODIS Cloud Feedback Model Intercomparison Project Observation Simulator (COSP) Package:
This collection results from a reprocessing effort in 2022 to correct a code bug that was discovered in mid-2021 in the COSP software, which caused a significant problem in the Low, Middle, and High aggregations of Cloud Fraction (from Cloud Mask). Users who had previously acquired the v6.1 MCD06COSP collection data files should obtain the new, corrected v6.2 MCD06COSP collection data files with "2022" (or later) production dates from the LAADS DAAC. The v6.1 MCD06COSP daily and monthly collections will remain available until November 30, 2022, and marked for decommissioning following that date.
