2016-06-10T18:21:00Z M[OY]D06_L2, M[OY]D08_[DEM]3, M[OY]D08_TL, and M[OY]DATML2 in collections 51 and 6 have been removed from public distribution via lads starting with dataday 2016-133 (05-12). A change in GDAS_0ZF ancillary data beginning on 5/11 which is used to produce PGE06 outputs beginning with 2016-05-12 06:00z produces flawed 1km cloud top properties which also leads to flaws in the cloud optical properties. After a PGE06 fix is delivered and tested, probably in a few weeks, the removed data will be reproduced and forward production of these products will resume. No decision has yet been made to cease or continue production of these ESDTs in Lance-MODIS NRT systems. |
