Input MYD0SS granules today for 12:48:56-14:34:50z and 16:11:38-17:47:55z were at least 2/3 missing and were used to create MYD00F and all downstream granules before the arrival of normal sized MYD00S granules five minutes later. Manual reprocessing for the first granule is largely complete, although 14:25 was missed. Reprocessing of 14:25 and 16:11:38-17:47:55z is just starting but should be expected. 2015-06-09T00:10:00Z update Input MYD0SS granule 17:48-19:23z had the same issue. Reprocessing over all three MYD0SS granules is complete with no remaining errors or undersized MYD00F. EDOS says "Apparently they did some Aqua shadow passes at the North Pole (UPN) site which had some pretty bad data quality and those slipped through our system. I have asked our operators to keep our queue paused and not to allow them to go through in the future." |
