| Description |
The ingest and distribution of the .met files from NRT has been disabled since November 4, 2024. If you need these files for looking up the granule bounding coordinates, for all L1 and L2 Swath products, you can make use of the GeoMeta files (https://nrt3.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/archive/geoMetaMODIS/61/TERRA/2024/ or https://nrt3.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/archive/geoMetaMODIS/61/AQUA/2024/). For everything else, the same metadata attributes can be extracted by parsing the relevant product file itself. If any user has a critical need to access these .met files for any reason beyond what has been laid out above, then they should contact Users Support and outline their need, so that we can review the user requirements and enable selected access to such .met files. |
