S3A_SL_1_RBT - SLSTR/Sentinel-3A L1 Full Resolution Top of Atmosphere Radiances and Brightness Temperature
" SLSTR is the Sea and Land Surface Temperature Radiometer (SLSTR) aboard the European Space Agency’s (ESA’s) Sentinel-3 satellite series. The SLSTR is a conical scanning imaging radiometer with dual view capability. The sensor has a swath width of 1420km and measures the Earth's radiation in 9 bands covering the visible, shortwave infrared, and thermal infrared areas of the spectrum.
SLSTR Level-1B and Level-2 products are available to the public. The product described here is the Level-1B Brightness Temperatures and TOA Radiances that are ortho-geolocated and resampled. Level-2 products include Sea Surface Temperature, Land Surface Temperature, and Fire radiative power. The Level-1B data are delivered in two resolutions, 500m for the reflective bands, and 1 km for the thermal infrared bands.
The SLSTR, aboard Sentinel-3A and -3B, together will provide a daily revisit time. A single satellite provides for global coverage at the equator every two days.
For details of Level-1B processing, see the technical guide on L1B processing. "
